SPECIM WELCOMES ITS NEW EMPLOYEE: LUCIE HOMOLOVA

SPECIM participates in the European project Hyper-I-Net (EU Marie Curie research training network), which gave us the opportunity to recruit Lucie Homolova. Lucie holds MSc degree in Geo Information by Wageningen University and has research experience in remote sensing at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. She started her work at SPECIM in February 2008 and will dedicate her time at SPECIM to study integrated retrieval approaches of the assessment of the atmosphere, soil and vegetation, contributing to the final signal at the sensor. The integral part of her study will be the evaluation of the FODIS downwelling irradiance sensor and its contribution to the atmosphere condition assessment. Lucie's research project is coordinated together with University of Warsaw (Poland) and Wageningen University (The Netherlands).
