Hyperspectral Scanners

Specim provides several scanner accessories for its Spectral Cameras and AISA sensors. With a scanner, a line imaging push-broom hyperspectral camera can be easily used to scan an image of a stationary target or scenery, and to image various kinds of samples in a laboratory.

Rotary Scanner

SPECIM offers a rotary stage for scanning of hyperspectral images over a stationary target in the field and laboratory by using any of SPECIM Spectral Camera and AISA sensor. Bayonet type mounting adaptor allows quick mounting of the camera on the stage. SpectralDAQ software controls the scanner and automatically sets the correct scanning speed for right image aspect ratio.

The rotary stage can carry one or two sensors (VNIR+SWIR).

Scan angle max. 180 degrees.

Linear Scanner

SPECIM provides linear scanner setups for quick hyperspectral imaging of various samples in the laboratory. The scanner setup consists of a linear stage, sample tray, illumination unit, and mechanical mounting frame for the Spectral Camera or AISA sensor.

The scanner setup can be built for various sample sizes from 20x30 cm up to 1 m long samples.

Desktop or floor installation.

Please contact SPECIM at info@specim.fi about your application requirements, and we are pleased to provide a scanner proposal which will meet your imaging requirements.
